The “Junk Kouture” Initiative, inspired by our Greenschools co-ordinator Ms Eileen Murphy whereby students were encouraged to design a fashion piece from recycled material. The results were pretty amazing. The eventual winner was Kellie Hamilton (2.2) with her “Little Mermaid” creation. The outfits were judged by Leaving Cert. student Dearbhla Skeehan who complimented all the participants and their assistants on the impressive collection of Junk Koutoure.
